Walk in the Door - Big Share is an ideation warm-up exercise for divergent ideation: it helps participants open up more possible ideas before choosing a direction.
How to run it
- Roll one large sheet of butcher paper any large paper is fine down a series of rectangular tables
- Have pens and markers spread throughout all the tables
- As players enter the room this can also be an exercise timed throughout any event have players write their ideas down on the paper
- You can choose to give topics for them to write down or it can be open ended
- After 30 seconds to 2 minutes have them move to a new spot on the table and add to the next person's ideas
- Ideally, ask players to identify themselves next to their comments and ideas
