Walk About is an ideation warm-up exercise for divergent ideation: it helps participants open up more possible ideas before choosing a direction.
How to run it
- This can happen organically before the session starts, during co-working time, or during a set amount of time structured into an updraft
- Place content relevant to the gathering on the white boards, by the coffee, on flip charts and easels
- televisions and wherever information can be placed Place blank paper and pen next to each set of content, or if the content can be written on, hand out
