How to run it

  1. Place a regular deck of playing cards (face down) in front of you.
  2. Over the course of the next five minutes, flip one playing card over at a time until the whole pack has been flipped.
  3. Taking turns, each group member will nominate in advance what face value (not suit) the next flipped card will NOT be.
  4. The group’s ultimate goal is to flip the full deck of cards without having predicted any of them in advance.
  5. Once a nominated card has been flipped, the round ends.
  6. Note the number of cards remaining at the end of each round.
  7. Allow a few minutes of planning time between rounds.
