The corpus shows an industry that is good at publishing schedules and much weaker at showing how gatherings create change.
Most people experience events as a stream of keynotes, panels, meals, workshops, expos, and networking receptions. That is the visible layer. The harder question is whether the agenda is designed to change what people know, decide, do, build, or sustain after the event ends.
This report reads thousands of public agendas through that harder question. The result is not a popularity ranking. It is a map of visible outcome machinery: participant work, specific problems, useful relationships, learning transfer, commitments, measurement, follow-up, and evidence.

What is a GES score?
GES means Gathering Effectiveness Score. It is a 0-100 judgment of how much a public agenda shows the machinery of a gathering that can create real outcomes: participant work, specific problems, useful relationships, applied learning, commitments, follow-through, measurement, and evidence.
It is deliberately stricter than a satisfaction score. A beautiful stage, a packed ballroom, or a high NPS can still score low if the agenda does not show how people will apply anything, decide anything, meet the right people, or continue the work afterward.

This is not a survey of opinions. It is a public map of agenda design.
Readers do not need to know our internal data labels. The simple version: we captured public event agenda evidence, grouped duplicate slices of the same event, extracted the agenda blocks, and judged what those agendas appear designed to accomplish.

Schedules are abundant.
The corpus contains more than 300,000 agenda items, including timed sessions, panels, workshops, demos, meals, networking blocks, and keynotes.
Outcome machinery is uneven.
Learning transfer, network design, and participant work appear often enough to study, but commitments, baseline measurement, tracking, follow-up, and impact evidence are rare.
Proof is the frontier.
Only a small number of records clear even a 50+ GES threshold, and no record reaches 60+ under the current strict public-evidence rubric.

A 50+ score is already unusual because the rubric rewards visible mechanisms and evidence, not event polish.

The gap is not agenda volume. The gap is follow-through, tracking, baseline, and impact evidence.

Many public pages are useful but thin; a smaller layer is polished enough for deeper comparison.

How to read this
Stop buying attendance as a proxy for impact.
Ask which decisions, behaviors, relationships, or commercial outcomes will still be visible 30, 60, or 90 days later.
Design the work, not just the run of show.
Add problem framing, participant production, feedback, synthesis, commitments, and continuation into the agenda itself.
Demand value architecture.
The best sponsor environments create qualified interaction, useful buyer work, post-event continuation, and evidence of movement.
Make the room smarter.
A panel should resolve a problem, expose tradeoffs, harvest audience questions, and end with usable synthesis.
Move from broadcast to participant work
Replace some stage time with structured exercises, decision prompts, peer exchange, demos with use cases, and synthesis.
Add the after-event layer
Name owners, dates, check-ins, progress dashboards, follow-up sessions, and post-event reporting.
Publish the evidence
Visible baseline, tracking, and impact signals are rare enough to become a public differentiator.

This report uses all judged public agenda/source records for distribution charts and deduplicated event groups for examples. Scores come from the third-loop Gathering Effectiveness Score.
Scores are not causal proof. They are public, source-grounded judgments from visible agenda structure, source evidence, and explicitly labeled inference.
