Trident Submarine Sharing is a relationship mapping exercise that helps participants build useful connections and understand how people, roles, or ideas relate.
How to run it
- for Breakout Groups at a Gathering Collect a list of all the different divisions or companies or skill sets or roles participants play
- Have participants grouped by their day-to-day division/role or any other typical variation you can think
- Identify from the list one or more 'Trident" to sit in the other groups" breakout if you have a total of
- groups, there should be 4 'Tridents" - one in each of the other groups Encourage the 'Trident" to listen and share and then Close the Triangle with anything they think they■ can support
- Each group describe what they do in their day-to-day divisions■ Because this is a short gathering you are conducting, have the 'Trident V " return to their home group and
- share their learnings
- for within Organizations If this is voluntary, ask for volunteers
- conduct a People Science survey for full application, or just simply ask for opt-in people who want to develop more relationships and learn a lot!
- Gather a list of current/regularly planned meetings AND/OR find the list of open desks/chairs that could be
- used by your Trident volunteers Run a PS engine through all the people to strategically be able to place them on different teams/seating
