How to run it

  1. Partners take turns to be blindfolded while the other leads them to a series of three random objects.
  2. At each object, the sighted partner will describe the necessary focus, distance and exposure for their ‘human camera’ to capture an image (in their mind.)
  3. On “GO” the blindfolded partner will open their eyes ever so briefly to capture a snapshot.
  4. The blindfolded people aim to remember three distinct images.
  5. Re-gather your group, and invite a discussion about what each ‘blind’ person recorded in their mind’s eye.
  6. Human Camera Partner trust exercise to enhance observation & mindfulness.
  7. Human Camera is a partner trust exercise that encourages careful observation as partners take turns to capture mental images while blindfolded.
  8. The unique combination of communication and mindfulness makes this trust-building game particularly effective for developing deeper relationships while enhancing visual memory and literacy skills.
