How to run it

  1. Explain the dynamic and its duration (e.g., 5 days, one week, one month).
  2. Decide whether there will be daily prompts or if sentences will be free-form.
  3. Each day, each participant writes a sentence related to the daily topic or something they want to share.
  4. The sentence should be brief, clear, and reflect the day or an experienced emotion.
  5. Sentences are grouped by day and added to a shared format (mural, notebook, whiteboard, or digital file).
  6. Read all gathered sentences aloud or turn them into a collective artwork (collage, video, poster, group poem).

  • Where we observed it: The strongest current observations come from Participatory Methods; aggregators are listed as additional observations, not origin proof. (1 source observed, including Participatory Methods.)
  • What that means: we track where an exercise has been observed in public sources. We do not claim to know who created it, or how popular it is.
  • No efficacy claims: appearing in this library is not a claim that the exercise is proven effective. Facilitator judgment and context decide whether it works for a given room.
