How to run it

  1. In advance, count and distribute five blank index cards for every person in your group.
  2. Ask each person to write their own (first) name on each of the five cards.
  3. Combine all of the cards and shuffle them.
  4. Deal five random cards to each person, asking them not to look at their cards until the game starts.
  5. The goal is to be the first person to collect a matching set of five (name) cards.
  6. The following three parameters govern all trades:
  7. - Everyone plays at the same time, ie there are no turns;
  8. - All trades must be one-for-one, with no more than three cards exchanged at a time; and
