How to run it

  1. Form a circle, facing into the centre, with you standing in the middle.
  2. To start, use both arms and hands pressed together in front of you to randomly point to one person in the circle.
  3. As you point, say “ZIP” which will prompt this person to immediately crouch to the ground.
  4. If the pointed-at person and their neighbours respond quickly and accurately, they each survive to play another round.
  5. However, if one of these three people is too slow or makes an error, they are invited to swap roles with you, to become the new person in the centre.
  6. Play a couple of ‘test’ rounds to help your group understand what’s expected before play begins.
  7. After a few minutes, introduce one or more new people into the middle of the circle.
