Draw an Infographic
Infographics or images that summarize lots of information in an easy-to-read format are becoming more and more important as we are overloaded with content. Teach groups to co-create one to build relationships and understand the content of your gatheringcs objectives
How to run it
- Your job is to make the data tell a story that the viewer would not necessarily have otherwise gotten
- In People Science teams, have each person share an example of where an infographic helped them or
- If participants donct have an example, ask them to share how a visual changed their mind or SHUVSHFWLYH In case a definition is needed infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data or
- knowledge intended to present complex information quickly and clearly
- Give them too much content so they need to filter it for the visual!
- For example 'Create an infographic to show how the market has changed and how your group has
- responded to the changes" or 'Create an infographic that shows the importance of the participants at this gathering impact on the city/market/industry/world""
- After they have the initial assignment, ask them to consider a few important elements of an infographic
- For each infographic, you need to 'tell the eye where to go." If you stand back from the infographic
- you should be able to see a few big, bold items that tell the story at a high level

- Where we observed it: The strongest current observations come from Relationship Makers Handbook; aggregators are listed as additional observations, not origin proof. (1 source observed, including Relationship Makers Handbook.)
- What that means: we track where an exercise has been observed in public sources. We do not claim to know who created it, or how popular it is.
- No efficacy claims: appearing in this library is not a claim that the exercise is proven effective. Facilitator judgment and context decide whether it works for a given room.
